Seeking Kindness

She opens her mouth in wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.

Fresh Start

The end of a year always makes me introspective.  What have I accomplished?  Where have I failed? How have I grown? What can I do better next year?

The weakest area of my life is probably how I control my tongue.  And I am certain I’m not the only one who struggles!  James wouldn’t have spared so many verses in his epistle to a topic that wasn’t far-reaching or unimportant.

My goal for this blog is to share from my heart what God is teaching me about having a tongue of wisdom that shares the teaching of kindness.  You can read more about my ambitions here.   I’ll be writing along three themes, or areas, that I am particularly concerned about controlling my tongue in: my relationship to my husband, my relationship to my children, and my own personal thinking patterns.

Thank you for visiting Seeking Kindness.  I hope you can benefit from what you find here!
